11/1/2012

CHARLOTTE, N.C., (Nov. 1, 2012) — With a continuing commitment to expand both its employee and customer base within the state, Delta Dental welcomes its newest sales executive Brian Keefe to the Charlotte office.

As the company’s vice president of sales and account management, Keefe’s responsibilities will include leading all of the sales and account management functions statewide with a focus on new business growth and retention.

“Brian has been with us for only a short time and he has already made a significant impact building relationships with our clients and brokers across the state,” said Curt Ladig, president and CEO at Delta Dental. “He will be a welcome partner in promoting our market-leading dental networks that provide cost-effective access to oral health care for North Carolina employers.”

Keefe brings more than 16 years in sales with 10 of those years in the health benefits industry. He has served in roles such as account executive positions for companies such as IBM and more recently as a director of dental sales where he was responsible for overseeing mid- to large-size accounts. His background also includes six years working in various consultant roles.

Originally from Ridgefield, Connecticut, Keefe lived in Tampa, Fla. for 17 years prior to moving to the Charlotte area with his family.

“I’m looking forward to calling the Charlotte area home and am excited to build on an already successful foundation here at Delta Dental,” said Keefe.
