Network Facts

Delta Dental features the largest dental network in the country.

• The Delta Dental PPO network has more than 83,900 dentists nationwide practicing in more than 168,000 dentist locations.
• The Delta Dental Premier network has more than 142,000 dentists nationwide practicing in more than 251,000 dentist locations.

Delta Dental of North Carolina also has the largest dental networks in North Carolina.

In total, 2,743 North Carolina dentists participate in the Delta Dental Premier network and nearly 1,800 North Carolina dentists participate in the Delta Dental PPO network. This represents 56 percent of the licensed dentists in North Carolina in Delta Dental’s Premier network, and 35 percent in the Delta Dental PPO network.
